About this project

This portal publishes the territorial development master plan for the Minembwe – Bijombo area of Sud‑Kivu, Democratic Republic of the Congo. The plan sets out a proposed zoning scheme, subdivision parcels, a road network, planning sectors and key landmarks for the area's future development.

The interactive map viewer lets anyone explore the plan over satellite imagery — pan and zoom, switch layers on and off, click features for their details, measure distances and areas, and browse the full attribute tables. The underlying layers are listed on the data set page.

The spatial data originates from the SPF ZONES survey shapefiles and is maintained by the plan's administrators, who publish updates to this portal as the plan evolves. Visitors can view and explore everything; only the administrators can change the published data.
